SALUTE — Members of the Cleveland Fire Department hung a giant U.S. flag at the intersection of Keith and 25th streets as a salute to Staff Sgt. Berthold Chastain, the World War II flyer whose remains were found in 2009 and returned home this week. Karla J. Hyder submitted this photo of the flag.

IN HONOR OF FALLEN — Students from Cleveland Middle School place their hands over their hearts as a salute to Staff Sgt.
